ICANN has published a plan for the introduction of new top-level domain names, with a target date of November 2000.

The document will be considered by the ICANN Board of Directors at its meeting in Yokohama, Japan in mid July.

Public comment is called for, with answers to 74 questions specifically solicited. The deadline for submissions is 10 July in time for consideration at the meeting.
