Xanadu,

the fabled hypertext system that inspired the World Wide Web has been released to

the public by Ted Nelson, the guy that envisioned

weblike information infrastructure back in the 60's and was one of the early geeks.

Nelson,

the visionary behind the interactive world has released the software he and others

developed for 10 years.
