Browser Testing List
Now that we have our excellent Browser Archive, you'll want a systematic list for testing which will cover the vast majority of users. And here it is. Or at least it's the one I use to sign off major projects for general audiences. My rule is that while the site may not be all singing and dancing in all these browsers, it should at least be useable, and not break.
So while the current (November 1999) design of evolt.org looks really, really good in IE4.5 on Mac - with beautiful hovers and so on - it is still recognisable - and very useable - back to betas of Netscape1.1.
